Meet Benton Penn
At Harvest Wealth Advisors, I have the client—and only the client—in mind.
My reasons for becoming a financial professional is deeply personal. I saw some of his friends and family struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. After 10+ years in the business, I've developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives.
Over the years, I've helped clients with a wide variety of needs as they maneuver through a complex financial-services world.
No one strategy fits everyone, which is why every client gets my undivided attention—from planning to execution to follow-up. I take a proactive approach to helping you develop a strategy to address your financial goals and objectives.

Originally from Mississippi, I come from a family with a deep-rooted history in financial services. My career began in 1990 with a focus on employee benefits before evolving into a broader practice centered on holistic financial planning and wealth management. Throughout my journey, I have held various management roles in both internal and external corporate environments before transitioning into a client-facing position, where I can help impact the financial well-being of individuals and families.
In my current role, I work closely with clients and prospective clients, guiding them through key areas such as worksite financial education, retirement distribution planning, tax planning, investment strategies, and financial protection planning. I hold multiple industry licenses, including the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66, allowing me to provide comprehensive financial solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
I earned my degree in Political Science from Mississippi State University, with minors in History and Marketing. Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for competitive BBQ competitions and college football. Most importantly, I cherish time spent with my family—my wife and two children: a 15-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter with special needs.
